Leventis Museum
The appios® team have been steady contributors to the communication of the Leventis Municipal Museum in Nicosia, be it the branding of temporary exhibitions or the design of commemorative catalogues. When the Leventis Museum embarked on a building expansion in 2010, we were called in to look after the visual, graphic and semiological work the new wings required.
The museum has been a landmark in the cultural life of Cyprus since its creation and the studio, in all assignments over the past years, has been trying to promote it as the important institution it is.
“The printed information panels appearing in each room of the museum are designed to blend into the assigned period colour. The font, a serif white is used in a legible size and provides opportunities for further exploration of the exhibits.”
“Apart from the informational labels and panels throughout the rooms, the appios® team created cutouts of diagrammatic representations displaying Cypriot scenes from different eras.”
“Shop products such as stationary, booklets, diaries and even furniture placed around the museum were designed by the team and aimed to create a coherent branding experience for the visitor.”
